New York City natives who want to beat the summer heat or defy cold winter temperatures can enjoy one several indoor water parks near NYC. At least four indoor water parks are within a two-hour drive of New York City. The closest indoor water parks is the Great Wolf Lodge in the Pocono Mountains. It features one of the largest indoor water parks in the US. Among its highlights are an uphill water roller coaster and an indoor wave pool.

The two nearby CoCoKey indoor water parks are a bit more low-key than its competitors. There aren’t any super-high and scary slides, or surf simulators, but there are some nice body slides and covered tube tunnels, plus a Dip in Theater, where you can watch a movie while you swim.
